Disaster Emergency Preparedness

In light of recent earthquakes, tsunami warnings, floods, and wildfires, we've expanded our focus to include all types of disasters—not just fire. We've partnered with the San Rafael Fire Department on evacuation drills and created a centralized resource hub HERE to help residents prepare for any emergency.

Our new Disaster Emergency Preparedness Committee Chair is actively engaged in recruiting interested volunteers to be part of the Emergency Disaster Preparedness Committee, if you're interested please reach out to us on our email DBCNA.info@gmail.com and our chairperson will contact you.

Do You Have Your Go-Bag?

Evacuation Go-Kit

Assemble your go-kit before a disaster occurs, and keep it easily accessible so you can take it with you when you have to evacuate. Plan to be away from your home for an extended period of time.

Each person in your household should have a readily accessible go-kit and keep a spare for visitors. Backpacks work great for storing these items and are easy to carry when you leave.
